Prefabricated Housing
Organisers of the wartime exhibition which will mark the 60th anniversary of World War Two are keen to speak to people who remember living in prefabricated housing in Croydon.

In particular, those who remember living in prefabs built in New Addington and Shrublands, in Shirley, after the war are asked to get in touch, as part of the Their Past, Your Future exhibition.
Croydon's museum service wants to hear residents' thoughts and memories of what it was like living in the post-war homes.
The service is also keen to hear from people who attended the modern schools that opened in the 1950s, particularly Kingsley, Stroud Green, South Croydon or John Newnham.
Organisers would like to hear what the facilities and teachers in these schools were like and include the information in the exhibition.
The Whitgift Centre will be hosting the Their Past, Your Future exhibition in September and October, sharing war veterans' firsthand
experiences with younger generations to commemorate the 60th anniversary of the end of World War Two.
Councillor Stuart Collins, cabinet member for culture and sport, said: "I am delighted that Croydon Council has been chosen to host this major exhibition. We hope it will encourage residents to learn more about the Second World War and its continuing impact on their lives.
"We would very much like to hear from local veterans who would be willing to join us at the exhibition to share their experiences of the war with the borough's younger generations."
The £10 million exhibition, developed by the Imperial War Museum and supported by the Big Lottery Fund, is touring the UK throughout this anniversary year.
It comes to Croydon in September and October and the four week event, held in Whitgift Square, will look at how local people kept their families safe, how wartime experiences changed lives and how people remember those they lost.
A different part of Croydon's wartime experience will be highlighted each week, including the wartime experience of Croydon's children. The battle of Arnhem, Croydon's home front and the legacy of the war.
