Coulsdon, Chipstead and Woodmansterne - Photographic Memories, explores the history of the area through a collection of 100 snapshots taken from the Francis Frith Collection.
A spokesman for Francis Frith, the photograph publishers, said; "Every scene is precisely located, so anyone familiar with the area can see the changes that have taken place over the last 150 years."

The book is written by Koger Packham, chairman of the Bourne Society which is believed to he the largest local history society in England.

Mr Packham has lived in Gaterham for more than 20 years and has written books on the neighbouring parishes of Coulsdon, Limpsfield, Lingfield and Oxted.
